Everyone looks forward to Thanksgiving Break in the Fall. It’s where you have no classes and get to spend time with the people you love. Although the break is only for a week, I want to make sure that you make the most of it. Here are some tips to help you better prepare yourself for Thanksgiving Break.

Tip 1: Packing

You want to make sure that you pack enough clothes for the break. You don’t want to have to travel back to your room to get clothes, especially if you’re traveling outside the state. Feel free to use this time to switch up your wardrobe if you haven’t done so. Now that the season is getting colder, you might want to take your summer clothes and replace them with your winter ones.

Tip 2: School Work

You will have more time to enjoy your Thanksgiving Break if you complete, if not all, some of your school work. Do not procrastinate and wait to do assignments before school starts up again. Set aside some time where you can do work so it doesn’t get in the way of your break.

Tip 3: Be Productive

Although it is a break, you shouldn’t waste the time being lazy. If this semester has been stressful, take a few days to rest and decompress. Once you have done so, take the time to pick up some store hours or find a job for the holidays. You’ll be able to have money to go back to school with. If you are not interested in working, find some places to volunteer. Take the time to give back to others this Thanksgiving holiday.

I hope you find these tips helpful and I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
