Christmas music is one of the best genres of music! If you’re like me and start listening to Christmas music in September out of excitement for your favorite holiday, the traditional music gets old really quickly. Since, I have such a strong love for Christmas music I had to go and find some non traditional songs that you don’t always hear on the radio in order to keep myself sane. Here is a list of some of my favorite nontraditional Christmas songs that you should definitely add to your playlist this holiday season.

You know you’re a redneck when you can relate to this song.
2. Text Me Merry Christmas by Straight No Chaser featuring Kristen Bell
This is one of the most relatable Christmas songs when you go home for Winter break and you are missing bae.
3. Ludacristmas by Ludacris
The title says it all for this Christmas jam.
4. Christmas in the City by Nick D’ & the Believers
I randomly stumbled across this song and fell in love with the harmonies, and so will you.
5. Mamacita, Donde Esta Santa Claus? by Augie Rios
If you are a fan of Feliz Navidad you will love this song! Even if you aren’t, you should still give it a try.
6. Man with the Bag by Jessie J
Jessie J sleighs in this song! It is a must hear.
7. Twelve Days of Christmas by Straight No Chasers
Yes, Twelve Days of Christmas is a classic, but the Straight No Chasers puts a very fun twist to this version that won’t put you to sleep.
