What Your Coffee Drink Says About You

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UW Stout chapter.

I have been a barista for over 2 years, and in my time behind the coffee bar I have had the opportunity to meet all different kinds of people. What I love about the coffee culture is that it is so diverse, but you can learn a lot about a person by what they order.

Black coffee You have a chill personality. You would get up extra early just to watch the sun rise, and you probably listen to Public Radio and read National Geographic. You are also probably a hipster and love Chipotle (but who doesn’t?).

Espresso

If you have the gumption to drink this stuff straight, then #idfwu. Seriously. You are probably a store manager or on some executive board.

Tea

You probably have a bumper sticker on your car that says “Coexist”. You are very health conscious and love doing yoga. You support eating local and care about the environment. You are probably nice (or at least try to be) to everyone you meet.

Mocha

You are a family-oriented kind of girl, and your idea of a perfect night in involves comfy clothes and chick flicks. You live for the holiday season and all the warm fuzziness that comes with the frigid Wisconsin weather.

Latte

You are sweet, smart, and reliable. You have probably read a popular book series including but not limited to: The Hunger Games, Twilight, or Harry Potter. You probably have an unconventional taste in music also.

Blended Coffee

You try to act like you “need coffee to function” but you are not fooling anyone. It’s ok though. You are easy to talk to, relatable, friendly, and your social media accounts are a fairly high priority to you. You also probably work in retail.
