Local Student Dresses Up For Class Everyday

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UW Stout chapter.

Upperclassman Hannah Brosnan has been spotted several times this new year donning a look typically only seen in freshmen courses and office spaces. With a gray toned dress of appropriate length, and heels of respectable height and style, she sits down for our interview.

“Yeah, I get the confusion. People keep asking me if I need directions to English 101. I definitely fit the stereotype of a campus newbie.”

When asked why she chooses to dress up for classes, Hannah explained, “I did my internship over the summer, and the company I worked for had a pretty set dress code. Not only am I used to dressing like this every day, but I spent a lot of money on these clothes. I’m getting my use out of this Liz Claiborne dress until I get hypothermia.”

At press time, Hannah visited a local retailer to pick up some accessories for dressing down her elaborate wardrobe. She was seen trying out a range of demin jackets, patterned tights, and fall scarves.
