Waking up is a hard thing to do but not if you have the right tunes playing. I compiled a list of five songs that are sure to get you up out of bed and moving. When you are looking for a song to make your morning brighter, look for an upbeat tempo and positive lyrics so you can feel rejuvenated.

1.    All of Me by Tanlines

I think this is a good morning song because the beat is so cheery and it is easy to dance to. The lyrics are so down to Earth and make you happy with a catchy chorus.

2.     Anna Sun by Walk the Moon

I chose this song because it is empowering and has a strong beat that makes you want to shake it!

3.    Crave You by Flight Facilities (Adventure Club Remix)

This song is a little bit more dubstep but it has a great tempo and keeps you listening. The melody will be sure to get you ready in the morning with the beats and you’ll want to sing along.

4.    Undercover Martyn by Two Door Cinema Club

Most of TDCC’s music will boost your mood. They have an electric sense of tempo that makes you want to get up and dance.

5.    1996 by The Wombats

This song will get you awake by their witty lyrics and electric guitar and keyboard. The chorus is also creative and may get stuck in your head.

“One good thing about music is that when it hits, you feel no pain.”
