4 Reasons You Should Follow Style Bloggers for Your Fashion Inspiration

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UW Stout chapter.

They’re Like A Look Book

If you love getting your new magazines every month, you’ll love following fashion bloggers. Looking at editorial photos to get your inspiration is always fun, yet the clothing is always too high fashion for everyday life. Fashion bloggers are everyday girls like you who post photos of their own personal style. The photos are just as stunning as you’d find (in) Vogue. Only they provide a more attainable look and don’t have to cost thousands of dollars. They can inspire your own outfit or you may see something you like on a blogger that you want to buy.  With where an item is from listed in post, you can shop the look just like a catalog.

Style Tips

These ladies love to share their own styling tips. They give you some of their ideas on how to achieve the best look. They show you how you can take an outfit from day to night. Or how to rock a pair of studded heels. They offer their advice on how to attain a look that best represents you and how to feel confident in anything.

Tutorials

Lots of bloggers let you in on the secrets of how they achieve their beauty looks. They will share step-by-step instructions on how to perfect a bold cat eye or a guide on how to get mermaid wave-like hair. Some even have their own recipes on skin care treatments. If you are into DIY clothing, they’re plenty of bloggers who enjoy that to(too). Whether it’s how to fix a tear or up-cycle an old bag, there are many that create guides to teach you too.

Honest Reviews

A lot of bloggers have collaborations with fashion brands. They team up with them to show off some the latest merchandise and show you how they would style it. But bloggers will also share their review of a product. You get firsthand knowledge of whether or not a company’s product is worth the purchase. The blogger will tell you if they weren’t 100% satisfied with something they got. These aren’t movie stars or models telling you, you should buy something. These are real girls like you that are interested good, quality items and want to let others know about them.
