‘Tis the season for not knowing what in the heck to get your guy friend or SO for the Holidays. With boys, though, there are always a few gifts that always make the cut and here they are—12 basic gifts, for UW-La Crosse men in particular, you can’t go wrong with:
1. Basic T-shirts. Everyone loves a nice plain white-T.
2. Underwear. It’s not the most unique or extravagant gift, but you know they won’t NOT like it.
3. Food/Qdoba. Ahh, burritos—the best way to a man’s heart.
4. UW-La Crosse apparel. Isn’t it obvious?
5. Snow attire. It’s Wisconsin, which means it gets cold, and if you’re going to make your man take you to see the Rotary Lights he better have a nice pair of gloves to go with.
7. Packers/Vikings/Bears merchandise (sorry, touchy subject!). BE CAREFUL. Make sure you have the right team for the right guy!
8. Spotted Cow. Home to Wisconsin, this light beer is a UW-L favorite.
9. Khaki pants. I’m not exactly sure why, and I don’t exactly have scientific evidence to back it up, but it seems to me that every guy at UW-L wears a pair of khaki pants at least 3 times a week, so another pair wouldn’t hurt.
10. Howie’s gift card. Gift cards in general are always a safe bet. For a La Crosse dude, however, a Howie’s gift card is perfect.
11. Hiking boots. Because the bluffs…obviously. What guy doesn’t like a good bluff hike? Maybe one who doesn’t have hiking boots…
