If you’ve ever gone to the lawn on a sunny day, you’ve probably had the pleasure of seeing the most drool-worthy of UVa’s campus cuties. As you walk by he’ll stare at you with those big, brown eyes; come running up to you; and — if you’re really lucky — lick you.

Who, you might ask, is this fine creature? It’s Wilson, the 55th Lawnie. And though he may be a bit tied up at that moment (and at most other moments as well), he’s always ready to say hello. Meet Wilson:

Name: Wilson
Nicknames: Lawn Dog, Buddy, Little Guy
Relationship Status: Single, but looking for someone who likes long walks and soft petting.
Hobbies: Chewing Sticks, Chasing Balls, Chasing Squirrels
Bad habits: I LOVE finding food that people have left on the Lawn. Between wedding receptions, garden parties, and get-togethers, there are always plenty of delicious things! You’d be surprised how many waffles you can find on the Lawn.
Favorite Place: The Lawn, Garden Seven
Random Fact: I’m adopted.
