I’ve been basically yearning to see Noah Centineo back on my Netflix screen since Sierra Burgess is a Loser. But, that’s not the only reason why I’m excited for The Perfect Date.

It looks SO GOOD. The Stand-In, by Steve Bloom, is the basis for the movie that stars Noah Centineo, Camila Mendes, and Laura Marano in the central roles. The plot centers around Brooks (Noah Centineo), who devises an app that allows him to become a stand-in boyfriend to cover the costs for his dream to attend an Ivy-League college. Additionally, he aims to woo his crush, played by (one of my favorites) Camila Mendes from Riverdale.

I’ve watched both To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before along with Sierra Burgess is a Loser at least five times each, primarily for the plot but also because of Noah Centineo. If this short synopsis isn’t enough to convince you, watch the two films on Netflix and thank me later.
