This past Sunday, Kylie Jenner dropped a post with four pictures of her son with the caption “AIRE 🤍”. The post was sudden and random but did great on Instagram with almost 23 million likes. Initially, everyone was wondering if it was pronounced like air or airy but soon after, Kylie cleared it up on instagram that it was pronounced like air.
It took Kylie almost a year to expose her son’s name but she did change his name from it originally being “Wolfie” and it seems reasonable to want to wait to finalize and settle with the name before sharing it with a huge platform like hers. However, after releasing his name and showing what he looks like, the public has been loving baby Aire and everyone is noticing the intense resemblance between Stormi and her brother.
People are also questioning why she decided to release his name now and many are wondering if she did it to distract us from other scandals going on. But based on what I have seen, it has been a pretty quiet week regarding everything else.
It seems as if everyone was surprised by the name Aire because it isn’t a predictable name. But now that we know it, everyone online is making jokes about how she is sticking with weather and earth related names. People are also making other jokes about Aire’s name coming from the word “Billionaire”. It’s a funny connection but I think it’s so cute that their names aren’t too far related because both her children have many similarities like how they look and being born just a day apart from one another. The age gap between her kids also seems reasonable as it is four years apart which is common between many siblings that I know of. With that, people also think that she planned when her kids were born and wanted it to be this way. Even if she did do that, I don’t see what harm it costs if that is what she wanted but we’ll see if we ever find out. I also never jump to question Kylie regarding parental decisions because I feel like from what we have already seen, Kylie is an amazing mom to Stormi and she has never made me think otherwise.
Overall, many celebrity parents have covered their children’s whole faces to protect them as they were growing up but I think it’s really great that Kylie felt like it was the time to share and I love the way she went about it.
