Ingredients: Bread of choice, avocados, eggs, pesto, honey, red pepper flakes

  1. Toast your favorite kind of bread (mine is sourdough because it is bigger and the texture seems fresher).
  2. Spread as much avocado on top as you please.
  3. Cook an egg over easy, but instead of using oil or butter as a lubricant for the egg, use pesto! Make sure the pan is between low and medium because the pesto will just burn.
  4. Season your egg per usual (I use just salt and pepper). 
  5. Put the cooked egg on top of the avocado toast.
  6. Drizzle honey on top.
  7. Add some red pepper flakes.
  8. Enjoy!

This avocado toast is a perfect combination of savory with a hint of sweet, salty, and spice!
