Your go to hang out spot on campus:
When I’m on campus you can usually find me at Sid Smith Café, Kelly Library, or Robarts.

Favourite thing about U of T?
My favourite THINGS about U of T are the people and intramural sports. The other students I’ve met and the teachers I have are all amazing, and the intramural sports are great. If it wasn’t for sports at school I would probably go insane!!!

During your ‘bro time’ you:
I like to spend my bro time just hanging out and being lazy, sometimes over drinks and food. Sharing laughs with my friends is THE BEST stress reliever.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years I see myself working on getting my MBA and just loving life overall. Getting a Master’s in Business has been my ultimate goal since grade eleven, but being happy comes first on my list of priorities.

If you had one superpower, what would it be?
I’ve been asked this question a lot of times and have never come up with an answer but I think it has finally hit me. I think I would rather substitute a superpower for gadgets like Batman. Rolling around in a Batmobile would be quite badass. But if I HAD to choose a superpower I would choose being able to fly.

What song/ album would define your mood right now?
This is a really tough question. Right now I think anything Kanye West would define my mood. He’s my favourite artist right now and my mood changes with every situation.

One thing every girl needs to understand about guys:
We say and do things sometimes without completely thinking first. If we say/do something that can be interpreted in different ways, we most likely wanted it to be interpreted in the way that makes you happy! BELIEVE ME.

Describe your ideal first date:
My ideal first date begins with dinner. I think lots of talking on a first date is important because you want to get to know each other. I will always offer to pay for dinner, but I find it really attractive if the girl I’m with at least offers to help out. After dinner, what we would do is up in the air. As long as we both enjoy ourselves and want a second date by the time its over, the date has been ideal.

One thing you NEED to do before you graduate:
Before I graduate I NEED to win an intramural championship in either soccer or hockey. I also think it would be pretty funny/sad to sleep overnight at Robarts during exams.

How do you feel about being a Campus Cutie?
I feel flattered that I was approached to be a Campus Cutie, but at the same time I’m scared because I know that when I tell my friends about being a Campus cutie, they are going to roast me pretty hard.

Vanessa is a third year student at the University of Toronto. She is majoring in Employment Relations with double minors in Sociology and Human Geography. She is excited to start the Fall 2012 year as the new Campus Correspondent after a year of being a contributing writer for the Chapter. She will be studying abroad at the University of Oxford during the summer of 2012, hoping to come back with many experiences to write about. Aside from her studies and Her Campus responsibilities, Vanessa has a great appreciation for style, health and fitness, travel, and the finest dining experiences Toronto has to offer.
Natalie has recently completed her second year at the University of Toronto with a double major in History and Ethics, Society, and Law. She is excited to bring Her Campus to U of T and seeing it expand its presence in Canada. She is also active in the school's Model United Nations circles and numerous organizations off campus and is best described as a political and pop culture junkie. Born and raised in Toronto, she is blindingly proud of everything the city has to offer including the best school in the country, no matter what Macleans says, and its sports teams, no matter how many times they may lose or miss the playoffs.
