I’ve always been interested in makeup, but this summer I became much more invested in it. I started buying different types of makeup outside of my comfort zone and exploring different brands. To be specific, I started buying more eyeshadow palettes and playing around with them and learning how to do eyeshadow. There was one specific eyeshadow palette that I was so against buying and that was the JamesxMorphe palette. I was so hesitant to buy this palette because it had so many bright and crazy colors, at the time I had no interest in trying a look that had such bright colors and wasn’t neutral.

I caved this summer after testing out the palette. The shadows were just so creamy and while most of the colors were bright and crazy, it also had colors to create a neutral eye-shadow look, so I bought it. I started playing around with the palette as soon as I took it home and found that having a palette in front of me with so many colors made me want to try an eye look that was pink or had blue in it. I also found out it is such a great palette for a beginner, because the colors are so buildable, easy to blend and have pigmentation like a dream. The shimmer of the colors in this palette are a whole other story as well because they go on the eyelid so well and make the eye look really pop because of how shimmery they are. I highly recommend buying this product, and I’m so mad at myself for being against it for so long, I would definitely buy it again.

This palette has easily become one of my favorites, not only because of the color range, and how easy it is to use and blend, but because using it, I’m able to unleash my inner artist, just like James Charles. I was hesitant about stepping out of my comfort zone, but I’m so glad I did!

Meet Bianca, I am currently a Junior at Utica College in Utica, NY.  I am a Criminal Justice major with a concentration in Homeland Security.  Crime investigation has always been something that interests me.  I’m dedicated and passionate and it’s hard for me to quit things. I get that from my father so don’t hold it against me- he was a veteran and police officer for 20 years.   Growing up in a family centered around law enforcement has helped guide me in this direction, and I will forever be grateful.  After graduation I intend to continue on to law school where I can further my education in hopes of becoming a criminal defense lawyer and later on a District Attorney.  An interesting fact about myself is that I found the passion to be a criminal defense lawyer from watching the O.J. Simpson case.  The facts and conspiracy theories evoked a whole new passion behind criminal investigation that I intend to use in my future.  One of my most prominent moments in my writing career was when I wrote for an online magazine and had my most prevalent article hit 1.6k shares.  I believe in treating people with the same kind of respect and manners you would expect in return, and in a way it has helped shaped my expectations in life.   When you first meet me I won’t be the loudest in the room or the center of attention, but I will be intently listening to everything you say, for what you have to say may have a purpose. I believe in purpose. I believe that everyone is here to help you grow into who you are today and who you will be tomorrow.
