Skincare holds a special place in my heart as I have battled cystic acne; I’ve tried countless products and spent hours researching what works best. I discovered Korean skincare in late-2018 after watching a Korean drama and being in awe at how clear and healthy the actors and actresses skin looked. I’ve held Korean skincare in high-regard because of the concentrated, wholistic formulas, gentle and reasonably priced products that is difficult to find in western brands.

The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Essence

This essence contains 80% fermented green tea that gave me extra hydration and antioxidants. The unconventional lotion texture soaked into the skin nicely and gave a glassy appearance to the skin. One of the most notable results from this product was how it faded my hyperpigmentation.

If you have never tried overnight masks before this will definitely get you hooked. Do not be wary of the word “mask”, this formula will soak right into your skin and you’ll wake up with a brighter more moisturized completion. This is my go-to product when my skin is a little dull and irritated, Rice Extract is definitely a crowd pleaser as it’s unlikely to cause breakouts.

Beta-Glucan Daily Moisture Cream

While this is marketed as a daily cream, I love to use this at night. It is quickly absorbed and non-greasy. Moisturizers have a tendency to break my skin out, but I have never had a problem with this moisturizer. This moisturizer also helped to brighten my skin and reduce pore size.
