From April 3-14th Her Campus Utah is putting on a tampon drive to gather feminine products for The Road home. The Road Home is a non-profit that helps people and families in Utah who are homeless. They provide four main services: Emergency Shelter, Emergency Services, Case Management and Housing. Their main goal is to help people get off the streets and give them a safe environment until they can get on their feet again.

The Road Home makes sure that people who come to them for help recieve equal treatment, compassion, respect and dignity. Feminine products are some of The Road Homes most requested donation items, but they are rarely donated. We are holding this drive to provide those products for the women who need them. No woman should have to worry about if she will have the proper products she needs to get her through her period. Having a period is already inconvienient enough, so we are hoping to make it a little easier for the women of The Road Home.

Her Campus Utah wants to support women in our community any way we can. We have multiple donation locations across campus, so make sure to stop by and make your contribution! If you can’t donate take some time and volunteer your time to help The Road Home overcome homelessness. If you want to volunteer email volunteer@theroadhome.org or go to their website https://www.theroadhome.org to find more information.
