We get it. College. The highs are also the lows in a weird way, up is down, down is up. There are moments when you get to an exam and ask yourself, “am I even in this class?” We have the 12 memes that will make you say, “same.”
1. Â “Required Textbooks.”
Remember when your professor stressed that the $300 textbook was absolutely necessary to pass the class? Â Lies. Â Just a bunch of expensive lies. Â
2. Â The Syllabus.
Ah, the syllabus. Â Your life is now made up of syllabi, it contains all the information you need. Â And if you forget, the professor will be happy to direct all questions back to it. Â
3. Â Due Date Motivation.
Nothing motivates a college student like a looming deadline. Â Except maybe food.Â
4. Â Adulting.Â
What does pizza, beans, tuna and ramen all have in common? Â They are now our new favorite (and the cheapest) type of food. Â Plus sometimes, when we’re lucky, we’ll find quarters to do some laundry.
5. Â That “mom-safe” side of our life.
It’s not denial, it’s just “mom-proofing”. Â Honestly, it’s for her benefit.
6. Â Your territory.
*Walks into class and sees someone in your seat* Â (awkward silence) *glares at person as you sit down on the opposite side of the classroom*
7. Â Setting time aside to get yourself ready to do homework.
Don’t confuse the time before you do homework as actual homework time. Â Getting motivated is hard.
8. Â Setting goals.
Sometimes it’s the thought that counts.
9. Â The Dating Scene.
Beware of fire in the form of dates. Â Especially blind dates, those are the most flammable. Â
10. Â Testing Brain.
YOU HAD ONE JOB BRAIN! Â ONE FREAKING JOB!Â
11. Â Tuition.Â
If you haven’t seriously considered becoming a stripper or selling a kidney to pay for college than you are more stable than I. Â
12. Â And finally, enduring to the end of the semester.
Just so you can do it all again next semester.
