Actress and singer/songwriter Reneé Rapp has set the bar high for 2023. In August, she produced the top female solo pop debut album of the year called Snow Angel. Reneé Rapp’s fame has skyrocketed ever since the first tease of her EP, Everything to Everyone. She started her career by acting in various musicals until she landed her first Broadway role as the main mean girl Regina George in Mean Girls. In 2020, she turned to her music career and released her first solo song “Tattoos.” Since then, she has starred in the HBO Max television show Sex Lives of College Girls and now has her own Apple Music podcast, Renee Rapp Fourth Wall: The Podcast.

At the beginning of June in 2022, she teased her debut album with a cropped photo of the album cover on her Instagram. As a diehard fan since her song “Tattoos,” I excitedly, yet a little impatiently, waited for her new album. She released her lead single “Snow Angel” before the album on Jun. 9, 2023, which gained traction for the final release. On Aug. 18, 2023, she finally released the album comprised of twelve heartfelt songs that each represent Rapp’s character while incorporating her favorite musical styles like chorus and R&B. Directly after her albums release, she announced her accompanying tour called Snow Hard Feeling Tour, which is starting on Sept. 15, 2023, and continuing into 2024. Due to the high demand of the tour, she announced her resignation from her part on Sex Lives of College Girls, much to the dismay of the show’s fans. She also added additional dates to her tour since the initial release sold out in days. Rapp will be juggling her tour and her role in Mean Girls on Broadway in 2023 and into 2024.

Her accolades continue to grow as she adds the top female solo debut album of 2023 to her achievements. She has also been given a talk show on Apple Music as well as many shoutouts from popular music and video streaming platforms for her creative works. Since the release of her debut album, Reneé Rapp has appeared on Good Morning America to give a special performance to viewers right outside the studio. She also appeared on Drew Barrymore’s talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, and helped Barrymore evade a stalker onstage. Among these other outstanding philanthropic works and accomplishments, she was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Push Performance at the 2023 VMAs. She will also be performing in her first festival, “Life is Beautiful” festival in Las Vegas, Nevada at the end of September. She is no longer an underground artist and now has millions of monthly listeners on Spotify.  Reneè Rapp is sweeping the nation with her beautiful voice and enchanting lyrics that anyone can enjoy.
