What has been the highlight of your experience at USF?

Joining Delta Zeta has definitely been the highlight of my USF career. It’s how I formed my best friendships and really found my place at USF.

What are your plans post-college?

I’m hoping to graduate, move to San Diego and work in marketing for two years, then go to school for speech therapy and start a career in that.

If you could give any advice to a younger student, what would it be?

Get involved! I spent my freshman year trying to find my place and make friends through my classes, but I feel like I really just wasted that year. I really fell in love with USF once I started joining clubs and organizations because I was able to find people with my same interests and goals.

What do you look for in a significant other?

I really like guys who are confident and smart enough to use sarcasm. I’m super sarcastic and need someone who can take my sass, understand it, and dish it back.

Any dating advice?

Have fun with it and be yourself! I feel like we make dating out to be this huge, stressful production, but it really shouldn’t be like that. If youre being yourself and you don’t click with the person then move along–there’s someone out there who will appreciate all that you are and will accept the real, honest you.

What’s your ideal first date?

I’m from a city that’s not big on street lights, so my ideal first date would definitely involve stargazing. I would love to be asked out to a backyard dinner party where we could just casually talk and watch me stars come out as the sky grows dark.

Natalie is a freshman at the University of San Francisco. She is an English major with an emphasis in Literature and is an active member of the Xi Lambda chapter of Delta Zeta sorority.
