Today is Day of Silence, a national event where thousands students nationwide take a vow of silence to bring attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in their schools.
Yesterday, the USF P.R.I.D.E. Alliance celebrated their way by building a “hate wall” that students could write all the awful names they’ve been called or heard someone else been called, whether it was anti-LGBT, a racial slur, a religious slur or related to their appearance.
Then they smashed the wall.
