FASHION FRIDAY: How To Flaunt Your Bulls Pride

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USF chapter.

Whether you’re headed to a sporting event, the library or class, you can show your USF school spirit in style! No matter what year you are, incoming freshmen or graduating senior, it is important to be stocked up on cute USF apparel. Here are 4 fashionable ways to do just that:

1.      Hair Bows and Headbands

A simple way to show your spirit is by wearing hair bows and headbands. Regardless of if you wear your hair up or down, a green and gold hair accessory will prove your Bulls pride. This is also a great DIY project because making bows is inexpensive and fun! But if you don’t want to DIY, visit Bulls Market on Wednesdays outside the Marshall Student Center. There is usually a table selling green and gold hair bows for reasonable prices!

2.      Jewelry

Jewelry is another effortless way to rep our school. There are lots of options from earrings to necklaces. The key to picking jewelry is knowing the right piece that goes with your outfit. For example, if you’re headed to the football game in a USF tee shirt and denim shorts, don’t overbear your outfit with your statement necklace, but instead opt for spirit beads, earrings and a stack of green and gold bracelets.

3.      Nail Polish

The easiest way of all to shout out “I Love USF” is by painting your nails green and gold! You can simply do the colors, add glitter and sparkles, or find fancy DIY designs online. The great thing about painting your nails is that it allows you to be artistic and try out new colors and designs you might not have thought to try before!

4.      Clothing

There are endless possibilities to show school spirit in your clothing. You can look for the USF logo, or branch out and find clothing in green or gold, like the dress pictured. You can also purchase USF tee shirts, like the $5 Our Shirt, and then customize them into crop tops. If you need help cutting up your USF tee shirts, check out these easy-to-follow instructions here! There are plenty of other styles to cut tee shirts into, so browse the web and look for other cool designs, too. Overall, you can really mix and match our colors in any way, so get creative!

If you don’t want to buy regular green and gold clothing, there are many places to purchase USF apparel and accessories. The campus bookstore offers a wide variety. They have tee shirts, shorts, and more, all USF-themed. Plus, they have cute accessories such as green and gold spirit beads, other jewelry, headbands, hats, pin buttons, and more. Visit the bookstore on campus by the Marshall Student Center or order online from their website. Other stores to check out include Bulls Outfitters, Bealls Florida, Etsy, Target and Walmart. The majority of USF apparel can be found in stores, but it’s always a good idea to check online as well. Good luck shopping and Go Bulls!
