*Mariah Carey singing* It’s tiiiiiiime!!!! The holiday season is here and that means presents, for the most part. It can be so overwhelming to think about who you’ll be giving presents and most importantly what you’re giving. Here is a list of 5 affordable, mainly hand-made gift ideas that your loved one will appreciate.

Felt ornament

This one is super easy!! All it takes is some felt, needle, thread, and stuffing. You can be so creative with this; you can make food, letters, figurines. All you have to do is draw out on the felt what you want then cut it out. With the needle and thread you can add different felt colors, beads, but most importantly you use it to close it off, as you’re sewing leave a hole in order to stuff the ornament and then finish sealing!

Embroidered sweater, apron, kitchen rag, anything!

Along the same lines as the one above, for example for a kitchen rag, you can go anywhere and get a kitchen rag and with some needle and thread you can create shapes, stitch their name, initial, be creative and imaginative! This is a cute, customizable gift.

Wine bouquet

For this you get a wine bottle and place a green foam block on the neck of it. Wrap it with plastic wrap so the water doesn’t drip everywhere. Then get your flowers and stick them into the foam in whatever arrangement you enjoy. After you add all the flower you can then pour water into the foam in order to keep these flowers safe.

Clay polaroid holder

This is also very simple! Get some air dry clay, acrylic paint and a sealant (Mod Podge can be one). With the air dry clay, create whatever shape you desire. After this, take a card and slice the clay, slice it in a way that you see a long rectangular divot. Allow the clay to dry, paint it, seal it and then you can place the polaroid in the divot!

Clay catchall dish

For this one you can create any shape you want as long as it can hold things. Using the air dry clay create your dish and after it dries, paint and seal! Then it ready to catch all the trinkets your loved one has.
