Recap: HP7 Midnight Premiere

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USC chapter.

LA Live was overrun by mostly USC students the night Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiered. So many people were decked out in awesome Hogwarts gear (including myself! Gryffindor/USC represent!) but there were also some people who dressed up as Bellatrix, house elves, and this one is totally beyond me – Batman and a shark!

Some students were there as early as 2 p.m. and were noticeably napping until the start of the movie. Once the lights went out and the familiar Harry Potter theme music played, however, the entire room cheered before going completely silent.

I won’t spoil the movie for you but I’d definitely recommend it to all you die hard HP fans out there!
