While sitting in a lecture, I overheard two girls talking about what they’re going to wear this weekend.

“Is it a heels night?”

“I can’t wear anything tight, I ate way too much for that today.

“I would trade my GPA for a bigger bra size.”

How would this BEAUTIFUL girl sitting in front of me in class even joke about trading mind for body? Is that really where we are getting our self-worth from; our bra size or our Instagram likes?  Personally, I believe there are so many things every girl should rather be called than hot.

You should want to be seen as kind.

Do something for someone else and do it with care.  It doesn’t cost you a thing to pay someone a compliment or offer a smile.

You should want to be told you’re smart.

Is there anything sexier than a big, beautiful mind?

You should want to seem cultured.

In my final hours, I promise you I will not be laying on my deathbed reminiscing on the good old days when I was a Barstool Babe of the Week. I’ll remember that time I floated in the Dead Sea, or rode an elephant in the African safari.

You should want to be considered talented.

You can sing? You can do a back handspring?  You just ate that entire pizza in 10 minutes?  Atta girl.

You should aspire to be truly genuine.

Whatever you do, do it with heart.  Whatever you say, mean it.

You should want to be outspoken.

Be the woman who won’t bite her tongue to appease someone else.

You should want to be passionate.

Don’t half ass anything.

You should want to be I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T, do you know what that means?

Being able to stand on her own is one of the best assets a woman can have.

You should want to stay classy.

Never trashy.

Most importantly, every woman should want to be successful.
