You never truly realize just how lost you are without your best friend until you go home for the weekend from college and all of a sudden, your problems are immediately on her plate, and then there you are saying, “Please fix my life.” She’s always there to give you her input, be on your side (even though you really aren’t making much sense), and of course, fix your life when you realize it’s in shambles. So, here are a few of the many reasons to be grateful for your BFF.
1. When she tells you it will all be alright.
You are freaking out about what seems to be the largest issue you have ever faced, then you tell her about it and instantly feel much better. It can’t be that bad if your BFF says it isn’t, right?
2. When you screenshot that hilariously awkward photo someone from high school posted and you’re about to send it to her, but she already beat you to the punch.
Yeah, you guys are super judgmental, but at least you’re judgmental together.
3. You found the best winter scarf that has ever existed.
She is the only one who appreciates it just as much as you do, and that’s why you both are twinning right now.
4. When you had dinner, but you’re not as full as you could potentially be…
Thank God, she’s hungry too. Plus, you worked out today, so really going out for that second meal doesn’t even count.
5. She gives the best advice.
When you’re really struggling to make that difficult decision, you know she’s always got your best interest at heart and her advice is always gold.
6. Spontaneous trips.
It’s always an interesting day when you’re together. You really never know where you’ll end up.
7. She’s always on top of her social media.
You know you’ll always get at least one like.
8. You never have to impress her.
She drives all the way to visit you at school, but she’s perfectly content with snuggling on the couch, facemask in place, and a large bowl of popcorn between you.
You’re grateful because she is your person.
