I watch beauty videos on YouTube everyday. While the beauty industry is saturated with influencers and content, finding people to subscribe to and watch can take a lot of research and time. In order to make that a little bit easier, here are some influencers that I have actually learned cool tricks from, give honest reviews and are fun to watch:
1. LustreLux
Katy is one of my favorite YouTubers ever. I have been watching her channel for years now and I have grown to value her opinions as if she were my own friend. Not only is Katy hilarious, but her eye for creativity in makeup looks and vlogs are out of this world. Her friendship with Desi Perkins (another one of my favorites) is relatable and admirable. I also really appreciate Katy’s Amazon hauls and her cute pups, Zoe and Turbo!

2. James Charles
Not only has sister James permanently added “sister” to my vocabulary, but he is also one of the most thorough Youtubers when explaining makeup looks. His ideas are always original and I look forward to watching his challenges, tutorials and his new game show! James is not afraid to step out of the box when it comes to creative makeup looks, which I admire. 3. Tati Westbrook
Tati is undeniably one of the hardest-working YouTubers on the platform. Not only does she post new videos every day, but is also the CEO of Halo Beauty. Tati has made videos on almost every topic in the beauty industry; reviews, tutorials, hauls, de-clutters, etc. I highly suggest Tati’s channel to every audience as she is honest, hands-on and simply amazing. 4. Thomas Halbert
Thomas is one of my favorite influencers due to his humor, honesty and love of memes. Thomas can be brutally honest which really helps me as a consumer and lover of all things beauty-related. Thomas is one of the most talented and creative YouTubers in the beauty world and even started the popular video trend of “I Follow ____’s Makeup Tutorial” videos.

5. KathleenLights
Kathleen is known for being a kind soul in the beauty community. While she strays away from drama, she focuses on creating content like her “random rambles” as well as super in-depth reviews. I really appreciate Kathleen’s reviews and her trying new products. Kathleen has also founded KL Polish, her very own nail polish line, and creates the coolest colors and names as well as commercials for her launches!

6. Jackie Aina
“Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie”, Jackie’s theme song, will most likely get stuck in your head after watching her videos. Jackie Aina keeps her channel funny while also addressing serious issues like inclusivity and diversity in the beauty industry. Jackie’s honesty, as well as her stunning looks, are just two reasons why she is one of my favorite beauty gurus. Not to mention most of her jokes make me laugh out loud!
