2. Student ID’s and the Movies

Imagine you only have $5.00 and want to go to the movies… well, I have a suggestion for you. The Town’s El Cine as well as Caribbean Cinemas will give you a student discount from Monday to Thursday when you present your Student ID. The ticket will only cost you $4.50, $1.50 off the original price. From now on, you may see your student ID as a golden ticket.

PS: If you go to Paletados and show your Student ID you get 15% off of EVERY paleta. Yes, the discount applies to all of the 36 different flavors.

3. Application

Downloading fast foods applications and opening an account may be a what you need when it comes to eating on a budget. Forget about the Combos, the app will unlock a number of great and exclusive offers at accessible prices. McDonald’s and Burger King apps may be the key to affordable eating, if you can’t or don’t want to cook.

4. Jangueo

Every college student will janguear at least once in their life. If you are on a budget, you should definitely follow this last tip: Every bar in Maya has a Twitter account, and they post daily information about their happy hours and specials. This is lit and can help you decide on  your hangout spot for the night. Who doesn’t love tequila shots at 2×1?

Discovering how to save money while having fun is the secret to having a happy life. All you need to do now is download Student Bean, turn on the notifications on twitter and use your Student ID. Have fun!
