We’re back! After two years many students of the UPRRP community are taking in-person classes for the first time ever and what can you expect after years of taking classes on PJs, messy buns, and mascara shadow eye bags in front of a computer screen? Women in slaying outfits all around campus! And though I personally got stuck in the pre-pandemic fashion era, I’ve noticed the rocking IT fashion on campus and it’s time we talked about it.
So, what are our UPRRP ladies mostly slaying on campus? Here ‘s what!
- High Waist Wide Leg Jeans
Say buh-bye to skinny jeans cause it is the complete opposite of what’s rocking the UPRRP town. At literally any place on campus, you’ll be sure to spot ladies with high-waisted wide jeans and notice how they’re teeming all over the placeーwhether the jeans are open from the waist down, ripped, patterned, denim or brown, or bell bottom-ish, this is a fashion statement you do not want to miss.
2. White Sneakers
I guess Converses are not the IT thing anymore, but get yourself a pair of white sneakers and you’re IT. I’ve particularly seen this style staple combined with high waist wide leg jeans and it looks very pretty. But keeping these sneakers clean is an ordeal on its own.
Interestingly enough, another trendy shoe style I’ve also noticed is chunky shoes! But hey, if you still love that pair of old Converse, nobody will judge. Heck, I still see them all the time, which gives me enough reason to think that they never really left the realm of “campus fashion” (and I don’t think they will anytime soon).
3. Crop Tops
Crop tops all the way! I’m talking about each and every one of its iterations: long-sleeved, short-sleeved, T’s, multicolored, multi printed s; and topped with those high waist jeans, you have… perfection!
4. Gold Layered Necklaces
Though jewelry is pretty diverse on campus, I can’t help but notice the number of girls rocking gold layered necklaces; a simple and elegant fashion blend that looks divine.
5. Denim Jackets
When has denim ever failed us? Never! Denim jackets are always in and they look amazing with practically everything. If you don’t have one already, do yourself a favor and go buy one!
So, are you rocking any of these looks on campus? If not, don’t worry! Fashion equals expression, so it’s free. Wear what you like when you like and rock it, who knows, maybe your fashion sense will be the next IT look on the UPRRP campus.
