Who says a girl can’t go crazy about sports? All girls are amazing, but a girl who likes sports is even more exciting. Have you seen a girl who’s been overenthusiastic this week about sports? I can give you a possible reason: this week is one of the most important in Sports; the start of the NBA and the MLB World Series. It’s so exciting this beginning and ending of such important sports. You start seeing all this rivalry in social media that even you get caught up in it. The euphoria of a game is the adrenaline anyone can relate to. Here are some key descriptions on how to identify a sports girl in social media, or pretty much anywhere.

·         She has a team jersey

When your favorite team is playing, you don’t care how old or screwed up your shirt is: you wear that shirt in honor of your team everytime there’s a big game coming up. Either it’s a general team jersey, or your favorite player’s shirt. You decide.

·         She knows about the rules of the sport of her favorite team

To be able to call up the unrightful calls to your team, or to call the rightful calls agains the other team, a girl must be able to know very well what the rules are. A sports girl always has in mind these rules before engaging to long Twitter wars with random people about weird game decisions: like the ending of Game 3 of the World Series between Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals.

·         She played at least one sport in her high school years

A sports girl loves spending time playing! Some of them started out in high school playing for their Varsity teams. Some may be talented in different sports, having ability for everything. While some of us simply enjoy watching the game, we can atleast support our collegiate teams by being their biggest fans ever.

·         She defends her team at all cost when they win or lose

A sports girl clearly knows one can never win at everything. It is in our wish to be able to win every game, but it’s not always possible. We may be sad of their defeat, but girls sure know how to be loyals and support their team in good and bad times.

·         She doesn’t distract a guy from watching a game

Does your boyfriend or best friend love sports too? You can talk about that for hours. Watching the games together makes up for great quality time. Who knows, you may end up with a surprise question like the couple in our picture: he proposed to his girlfriend on the first game of the World Series at Boston. Their first date was five years ago in a Red Sox game, isn’t that so adorable?
