As we all know, the holidays are vastly approaching. One of my favorite holiday traditions that my family and I have is Christmas movie marathons. To keep up with them all, we make a list together on Thanksgiving that starts the following day. Because we are all spread out across the country, this is a great way to stick with traditions.

These Christmas movie marathons always get me in the holiday spirit, and it is one of the things that I look forward to the most. If this is something that interests you, then let me help you get started! Here is a list of my top ten all-time favorite holiday movies that are always included in our marathons. Don’t worry if your favorites are not included, these are just my personal top ten!

  1. Elf
  1. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
  1. A Christmas Story
  1. Home Alone
  1. Christmas with the Kranks
  1. The Polar Express
  1. Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas (live action)
  1. The Santa Clause
  1. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
  1. Eloise at Christmastime

I feel like most of these movies are classics and are widely known, but still, don’t forget to include them in your holiday movie marathon this year. If you struggle to fill in days with other movies, Google can be your best friend. Also, don’t be scared to repeat movies, I sure do. The Christmas season is my favorite time of year, so be on the lookout for other Christmas-themed articles.
