If I give you my heart will you hold it softly in your hands?

If I give you my mind will you see it as something to be treasured?

If I give you my body will you take the time to explore it as you would a new world?

If I give you my love will you give me yours, or

 

Will you take and take, like a leech or a parasite?

Hollowing me out, a boat to carry you and your baggage or a tomb holding only my corpse and your wretched intentions.

Will you give me new scars upon my heart?

Will I have to carry more weight that you added because you cannot carry it yourself?

Will you treat me as someone to be loved or something to conquer?

I do not know and

 

For this I cannot give you anything and I will accept nothing.
