HC: What do you like to do in your free time?
Corey: Hang out with friends and family, or play sports. It can be any sport—I just love being in a competitive atmosphere.
HC: So you’re on the track & field team… what event(s) do you do?
Corey: The triple jump.
HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Corey: Hopefully I’ll have a career and a family of my own, living comfortably back in California.
HC: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go, and why?
Corey: Ummm, that’s hard because there are so many places I want to visit, but if I had to choose one place, I would go with Australia. One of my friends has been there and told me so many good things about it.
HC: What’s your worst fear?
Corey: My worst fear is growing old and not being satisfied with my life, or having regrets.
HC: Describe your dream girl, or what you look for in a girl.
Corey: Well she has to be beautiful (in my eyes), easy for me to be myself around, has morals, a good personality, and has goals that she is working towards.
HC: If you could change something about yourself, would you? And what would it be?
Corey: Being taller would be nice. And I wish I could sing.
HC: Any pet peeves?
Corey: People that think they know everything or just never think they’re wrong.
HC: Are you doing anything special for Thanksgiving this year?
Corey: Well, I’m going with one of my teammates to his house in Kansas City. I don’t know if that counts as being special, but that’s about all I’m doing.
HC: And of course I have to ask, what’s your favorite part of being a Husker?
Corey: Game days, of course. I’ve never seen anything like it before I came out here.
