Meet Minh Tran. A very funny, nice, and extroverted sophomore from Lincoln, Nebraska with a major in Fashion design and a minor in Business Administration. She is the youngest of two children, working at a nail salon located in La Vista, Papillion. Her favorite part of working at a nail salon, is the creative part of it, where she can put use of her fun ideas and as well as interact with customers, while getting to hear their stories. She is highly involved on campus with organizations such as Unicef, Cultural Ambassadors, Smile and Scarlet Guard. She is part of Phi Mu and says that the best part of being a part of being part of such an amazing sorority is having people there for you. She loves the aspect that they have which is to have the opportunity to volunteer in philanthropies because it’s what she loves to do and believes that everyone should volunteer at one point of time in their lives. She aspires high and her main goal career wise is to become a fashion designer with a fashion line or work for H&M and be a designer for the company.

She says that if she can live anywhere she would live in Greece or Milan, but before that, she wants to live in New York for a couple of years and wants to study abroad in Barcelona. Her favorite foods include Mexican and Asian food. Her favorite color is blue. She mention that if she can have any super power it would be to fly! Her favorite movie is the Hangover and her favorite holiday is Christmas. One of her most favorite fashion designer is Coco Chanel. If she could meet anyone in the world it would be her grandparents (maternal and paternal) because she never had the opportunity to meet them. One of her biggest pet peeve is when people disrespect teachers and says, “Even though some teachers might deserve to be disrespected, you shouldn’t do it.”
