This past month I got an interesting question twice, “What do you want to do with your life?”. This was asked by two people I am not necessarily close with so it made me think, are people wondering what I am going to do with my life? Which then led me to think about what I would like to do with my life. So here is a list of a few things I would like to do! :)
1. travel
For all my life I have longed for traveling. It is just so intriguing to me, seeing the world and learning about all the different cultures. Luckily, next semester I will be studying abroad in Dublin and I could not be more excited. Getting the chance to live in a different country for months is so incredibly appealing and I can’t wait! Hopefully more traveling is in my future whether it is for work or a vacation.
2. Teach
Someday I would love to be a teacher. Teachers have played such a vital role in my life and I would love to be that for a student one day. Teaching a student about a passion of mine and potentially light a spark within them would be so rewarding.
3. Communicate
I hope I am in constant communication with the people I love. I have met some of the best people ever and am so grateful. I would not be the same without them. Some people have made such an impact on my life. I hope we always keep in touch!
While this may be a short list and there are definitely other things I would want to do, like run in a marathon (maybe..) these are a few things I truly care about. When the people asked me “what do you want to do with your life?” they probably meant in my career but I am still unsure about that. However, that does not mean I do not knoq what I want to do with other aspects of my life!! :)
