What Does Being a UNH Wildcat Mean To You?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

What does being a Wildcat mean? Being a UNH Wildcat is very exciting. New opportunities are available everywhere on campus, greek life, clubs, sports teams, jobs, and much more. You must be willing to put yourself out there and meet new people to get the best of UNH. Coming in as a freshman you are given the world in your hands. You are walking into the beginning of your life and how you choose to pursue it. Every step you take will lead you into the direction you desire. For me, being a UNH wildcat means a lot. I took part in the club volleyball team, Her Campus, hall council, and the student athletic training organization this year. Since I am in these clubs I am getting the true feeling of being a wildcat and what it is like to be at UNH. Not only am I in these clubs but I attend all my classes and have fun with my friends.

Positives of being a Wildcat: Diversity among students, interactive organizations, school spirit, good food (late night), brand new gym, students helping students, academic resources (CFAR), writing center, math center, frat row, and if not already, YOU. #wildcatcountry

In my eyes, becoming a UNH Wildcat was the most rewarding feeling I could have done for my future. I hope anyone who is a wildcat goes forth and enjoys their time here at UNH. Go Wildcats!!
