Top Group Halloween Costumes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

Even though Halloween weekend 2012 is less than a week away, you may still be scrambling to find a last minute costume. Going for a group costume with friends is an easy way to stand out in a crowd among the bevy of devils, police officers and sexy nerds. Here are a few ideas for different group sizes.

Spice Girls-
Girl Power never goes out of style. Dressing as the Spice Girls with four of your friends is the perfect way to match while still showing off your own individual style. Pick the pop sensation that best fits your personality, don her signature look, and grab a microphone and go!

The Four Seasons-
This costume will require getting especially crafty. In group of four, each person picks a season to emulate. Winter could do icy looking make-up, with a white and silver outfit. If you want to add some extra frost, create a snowflake hair piece. Fall can incorporate leaves into their costume, spring should use flowers, and summer can dress in shiny gold and look like the sun.

The Cast of Jersey Shore-
Here’s a good option for males and females to dress as together-not saying a girl can’t rock the blowout. Lots of hairspray is a must. If you are emulating one of the girls a poof wouldn’t hurt, with outrageous club wear-lots of leopard print. For the guys, rock a wife beater. Don’t forget to tan.

Crayola Crayons-
The number of crayon colors is endless, so this choice can work for any size group. You can be as creative as you want, making up your own color names or using some of the more unique shades Crayola provides. If not, the standard red, blue and yellow should suffice. For a quick homemade look buy different colored t-shirts that you can cut up and style as you please, and spray paint it with the Crayola logo. Crayon dresses are also available online, with the tops acting as headpieces.

If you’d like to get a little more creative and dress to match your friends this year, choose one of these easy group costumes and get ready for Hallowcoming 2012!
