Taylor Swift: 1989 (As Told by the Song Titles)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

Okay, I’ll admit it. When I first listened to the singles that were released off of Taylor Swift’s new album 1989 I was a little worried we might be losing the Style of the old T-Swift we know and (most of us) love…

But I’m here to tell you her sound in the new album is just as good, if not better, than it was before. We hear the same Clean cut voice that we’ve previously heard in Fearless, Speak Now, Red and perhaps even in our Wildest Dreams.

Unfortunately, there’s always been a realm of gossip surrounding this singer/songwriter’s life. The current chatter that Swift did a complete transformation with this album left our minds with some Blank Space, wondering what it would sound like.

Although, I Know Places all around the country where “Swifties” and previous Swift haters are coming together because of This Love they share for 1989.

Swift has been traveling to all parts of the country making guest appearances and interviews which I guess is just another part of the job. Although, I do feel bad for her having to go cross country in her tour-bus, from state to state, the whole time questioning if their Out of the Woods yet.

Usually, though, she winds up in the Big Apple where the crowds excitedly exclaim “Welcome to New York Taylor”.

Still, every interview I sit wondering when she’ll make the next announcement… I Wish You Would announce the tour already T-Swift (I need to start saving for front row seats)!

In order to enjoy the concert, you have to get rid of any Bad Blood you might have in relation to this musician, take that attitude, and Shake It Off.

So guys, go out and buy that special someone the 1989 album because I’m telling you that’s How You Get the Girl

And ladies, if you’ve already purchased the album I expect you to do nothing but listen on repeat forever. Wouldn’t it be nice if All You Had To Do Was Stay listening to Taylor Swift for the rest of your life?
