Best TV Couples to Envy this Valentine’s Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

Whether you’re pro or anti-Valentine’s Day, I think we can all agree that TV couples have it better. Netflix has given us the opportunity to binge watch all our favorite shows and live vicariously through our favorite couples anytime we want. So, if you don’t have any plans this Valentine’s Day, that’s okay. Pour yourself a glass of wine and watch some of our favorite characters fall in love all over again! Here’s my list of the best TV couples ranked in no specific order:

1. Derek and Meredith

Regardless of if you love or hate Grey’s, I think we can all agree that Derek and Meredith have one of the best stories on television. Not to mention the house of candles was one of the best scenes in the entire 11 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy.

2. Ezra and Aria

There is a lot of lying in this relationship, but that may just be the nature of the show. It’s not a conventional love story but definitely fun to watch.

3. Chuck and Blair

Everyone’s favorite couple. It may have taken them most of the series to be together but they were “inevitable”.

4. Cory and Topanga

This is one of the best quotes on TV. The couple started at a very young age and many people doubted them… But they never doubted themselves.

5. Nathan and Haley

I don’t recommend getting married and having a baby in high school to anyone, but they made it work while also reaching their full potential. #goals

6. Joel and Julia

They might be one of the most beautiful and happy couples on TV. I am determined to have a husband like Joel.

7. Luke and Lorelai

I guess opposites really do attract. These two lived completely different lives but still found a way to be together even after Luke watched as Lorelai had many different men come and go.

8. Blaine and Kurt

These two would do almost anything for each other, from transferring high schools to moving to different cities.

Turn on your computer and login to Netflix if you’re in need of a little love in your life, you won’t regret it.
