10 Thoughts We Have Creeping on Our Freshman Year FB Albums

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

Thanks to Facebook we have the ability to be reminded of our past with the click of a button. As a junior, looking back on my own freshman year Facebook album I am both amazed and #blessed at how much I have changed in just two short years. Though most of us have come a long way from crop tops, and dorm-hallway pics with sucky lighting, Facebook will always be there to make sure we stay humble and remember where we came from. Here are ten things that cross our mind when creeping on our freshman year Facebook albums!

1.) “Oh, how did we ever survive sleeping in bunk beds for a full year? It’s no wonder we became so close…we didn’t have a choice!”

2.) “I can only imagine how awkward the taking of this picture was considering we had only known each other for three days prior…”

3.) “Were crop tops ever even fashionable? Probably before the freshman 15…”

4.) “Once again…what was I thinking? I’m not sure if it’s the length of my shirt or the angle of my back that’s currently making me cringe with discomfort.“

5.) “Reallyyy hope no one saw us take this…but probably going to reenact it this homecoming!”

6.) “Ohhhh, the Wildcat. Freshman year forever.”

7.) “How is this a picture of college students?”

8.) “That was actually the first and last football game I went to…now I can barely make it past the tailgate. Go Wildcats though!”

9.) “I thought I was such a bad ass. Only had to get my nose re-pierced twice since then! Still sorry, Mom.”

10.) “Yup, that pretty much sums up our first Cinco.”

Hopefully, two years from now we’ll be looking at pictures from 2016 with the thought “What was I thinking?” The embarrassing pictures are the ones that remind us how far we’ve come. Years go by, but Facebook albums are forever. Remember that!
