Welcome back from break, Seahawks! Getting back into the swing of things with a new semester can be quite the struggle. For me, coffee is essential so when I heard Dunkin’ had new Girl Scout inspired coffees I knew I just had to try them out.

Coconut Caramel Iced Latte

This drink is inspired by the classic Girl Scout Cookie, Caramel Delights or Samoas as some people know it by. But, honestly, it tastes nothing like it. I was disappointed, to say the least in this drink. I mean who doesn’t love Caramel Delights? This drink was just an odd combination. It tasted more like a caramel coffee with a weird aftertaste.

Thin Mint Iced Coffee

Thin Mints are another classic Girl Scout Cookie that I have to grab every year, and this coffee doesn’t disappoint. Besides the fact that the cookie is a solid and this coffee is, well, a liquid, they taste exactly the same. I wish this flavor stayed around forever because it would be a staple come finals time.

Trefoils Shortbread Iced Latte

While I’m not a big fan of the Trefoils, I have had them before and they’re not horrible. They’re just a classic vanilla, plain cookie and I think that is accurately reflected with this drink. While it’s not horrible, it’s also nothing super spectacular. It honestly just reminds me of a typical vanilla iced latte with a little buttery flavored add-in.

Seeing such a huge corporation such as Dunkin’ support Girl Scouts is pretty great and I will continue to order these drinks until they disappear at the beginning of Spring. Let us know what your favorite drink is in this collection! Tweet us @HerCampusUNCW!
