What are you currently listening to?
As a college student and a commuter, you will always see me wearing headphones and jamming out to loud heavy metal music. At first, when you see me, you might not expect that I’d like that genre of music, but let me tell you a little about it.
Rammstein: A German heavy metal band founded in 1994 consists of six members. Lead singer Till Lindemann, guitarists Richard Kruspe, Oliver Riedel, and Paul Landers, keyboardist Christian Lorenz, and finally drummer Christoph Schneider. Originally formed in Berlin, Germany, the heavy metal band has been known worldwide. They are well known for their aggressive and controversial lyrics, as well as their unique and theatrics concerts.
If you are someone who is interested in hard guitar sounds and intense lyrics, Rammstein is for you. I have collected all their records through vinyl and have bought a record player for the sole purpose of completing my Rammstein collection; so you can say that I am a little bit of a crazed fan. The first song that introduced me to Rammstein was “Mein Teil.” I suggest you listen to the song first (they are all german for the most part), and then translate the lyrics to your preferred language if you do not speak German. Warning: These lyrics are explicit. Amazing sound nonetheless.
