If you were a kid in the 2000s, you definitely should remember the Disney TV show “The Proud Family!”
It followed the fourteen-year-old Penny Proud and her adventures with her parents, Trudy and Oscar, and her grandma, Sugar Mama. The show lasted from 2001 until 2005.
Disney + just announced that they’re reviving the show after 15 years!
The revial will be called “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder”! The show will have the original executive producers and also feature the original cast!
In a statement, the executive producers said “In our minds, the show never really went away, as we still had tons of stories left to tell…It’s the perfect time to bring back this show, and we can’t wait to take fans, old and new alike, on this journey with us.”
