Chicago vs. Los Angeles: Style!

Chicago: the Windy City, and Los Angeles: the City of Angels. Two completely different places with two completely different styles halfway across the United States. Here are the three big differences!

  1. Cubs vs. Dodgers

This is a very important difference that must be discussed because it is the playoff season for baseball, and these two cities are battling it out this week to make it to the World Series. Now, for those out there questioning why this one is listed, it is because when it comes to baseball these teams play, but they do not play. Baseball in Chicago is a lifestyle; you bleed blue and red or black and white. In LA, everyone is a Dodgers fans. By the way, GO CUBS!

       2. Weather

60 in Chicago bring out the shorts! 60 in LA get your winter coat. One can make the argument that Chicagoans are warm-blooded because our winters kick your ass. But Californians do not know winter. Winter in LA is not winter; it is a mild summer.

     3. Time

Los Angeles time to chill and catch some waves while in Chicago you better catch that eight bus before you hop on the Blue Line because time is everything. Some can argue that LA gets to relax, and Chicago never sleeps because time is wasted. One could also argue that LA is lazy, and Chicago is on it with everything, you decide!
