Chicago weather is always super confusing. One day it will be 75℉ and we are dressed in nice clothing, but the next day it could be 30℉ and we start layering our clothes.

However, recent sources came out with predictions of Illinois’ winter weather this year…and it’s not looking the best. According to the Farmer’s Almanac, a source that does seasonal weather predictions, this winter will be colder and drier than normal. But on a better note, snow will be near normal in most areas. Same sources are predicting it will start snowing as early as mid-November.

However, there is little information about snow storms; therefore, we will see further predictions as we transition into the snow showers.

Now that mid-November is just days away, it’s time to bring out our winter coats, boots, hats and gloves.

We are still living in a global pandemic and we want to avoid getting sick. So, dress with layers and stay warm this winter. For future references, here is a helpful website to be able to distinguish your symptoms when you’re feeling sick. But to rule out the worst possibility, it’s best to get COVID tested when you do feel sick.

Stay safe!
