Mask of Magnaminty, yeah it is a mouthful. Yet, it has to be one of the best masks I have ever used for my skin! Mask of Magnaminty is one of Lush Cosmetics’ most popular products promising to deep clean and minimize the size of your pores. Like the rest of Lush products, the mask is all natural and now self-preserving. So, there’s no need to put it in the fridge! (However, out of sheer habit, I still put mine in there.) It contains a variety of all natural ingredients including china clay to pull up the dirt out of your pores and Aduki beans to exfoliate your skin with a smell and look that reminds you of mint chocolate ice cream!

My results from this product has been nothing short of pleasant. I personally have acne and blackhead prone skin. After using this product for about two months, I have seen a significant difference in my skin. My skin is smoother and my pores are less visible. Breakouts are minimal in exception to hormonal breakouts. I feel like my skin now responds better to other products in my regimen. My makeup also applies smoother since I have added this mask to my routine.

Mask of Magnaminty is an addition to my skin care regimen. I use this product every other day. Yes, I know it sounds like a lot. But really, with this product being so gentle on my skin, I am comfortable using it as frequently as I do. I will wash my face in the morning then put it on immediately after. I will let it sit while I do other morning obligations for five to ten minutes then wash it off.

I would like to point out that the mask is a little bit messier than other masks I have used in the past. The Aduki beans make it difficult for the mask to dry evenly and sometimes fall off my face while it is in the process of drying. Which can be annoying because I like to sit and read in my bed. Once when I get up to wash it off, some of the beans are in my bed.

Mask of Magnaminty comes in two sizes: a 4.4 ounce jar and an 11.1 ounce jar. The price of this product is $12.95 for the 4.4 ounce and $24.95 for the 11.1 ounce jar. It’s a great product. Still, start with the 4.4 ounce jar to see if you love it as much as I do!
