4 Simple Ways to Refresh Your Look for Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UIC chapter.

The weather is starting to warm up and Spring Break is right around the corner. We can all slug off those heavy coats, put away those sloppy boots, and give ourselves a much needed new look for the upcoming season.

1. Change your hair part

Switching to a different part than what you are used to can make a world of difference. Many people do not know that parting your hair in the same place can be damaging. Give your look and your hair a healthy change.

2. Buy a few accessories

Finding the money to buy a whole new wardrobe can be a bit of a struggle. Investing in a few new statement jewelry pieces for the spring can take your simple neutral outfit to a spring dream.

3. Try out a new lip color

Makeup is a simple way to help you look representative of the season. Simply putting that dark, vampy matte lip color away for next year and bringing out a glossy, lighter color will turn heads.

4. New Scent

Now that you are looking the part, smell the part! Stop by at Bath and Body Works and pick up a spring scent that is representative of you from their spring collection.
