25 Reasons You Should Have a Winter Fling
1. Because you need someone to convince you that standing in line at the outdoor ice-rink is going to be worth it, even if the 30min mark means you’ll be there for another hour.
2. Because once you are ready to skate, you need someone to hold your hand. How else are you supposed to hold yourself up? (But really, we all know you almost went pro as a junior figure skater in 6th grade, no biggie.)
3. Because you drank a little too much spiked eggnog at your Friendsgiving reunion and you need your go-to designated driver.
4. Because coming home after a long, cold day and watching a movie under the plushiest throw is exactly the kind of R&R your body needs. And you wouldn’t dare think of doing that by yourself.
5. Because you need to attend an ugly holiday sweater party, and the only way to do so is if you put each others’ mug shots on your sweaters.
(But even if you wore a mohair suit, you’d make it look glam. This is YOU we’re talking about here… you’re practically the collegiette version of Kate Middleton.)
6. Because who else is going to sneakily wrap you up in Christmas lights as you decorate that Christmas tree? And whom are you supposed to throw ornaments at as retaliation? Yup, that ah-ha moment.
7. Because you are throwing the best holiday bash, and you need that one person to look at you from a far, and admire how lovely of a hostess you are.
8. Because Baby, it’s Cold Outside. You need someone to cuddle with… and this act fits the picture.
9. Because baking for someone else is worth so, so much more fun than baking just for the heck of it.
10. Because cooking for two is always more fun than cooking for one.
11. Because that gingerbread house needs to be decorated. And it’s always more fun when someone is spreading frosting on your face with their fingertips. (We secretly like that. A lot, actually.)
