As summer comes to an end and the cool weather starts to kick in, fall fits are coming BACK! I don’t know about you, but my favorite season is Fall, not just because of Halloween (even though that is a major factor) but the outfits you can wear when the leaves start to change, and the air feels more crisp. Being at UGA has taught me that I need to up my fall fashion game and so that is why I wanted to share some of my personal favorite fall accessories with you this year!

Chunky boots

There is nothing more powerful than walking to class in big boots. They’re just such a powerful move and they are great with any outfit, you could style them with anything denim, a dress, sweaters, or even shorts. They not only keep your feet protected from any leaves but they make you feel like you’re on top of the world. My personal favorites are Doc Martens or platform Steve Maddens.

Belts

I don’t know if it was just me, but I wasn’t really a belt person growing up. I thought they were unnecessary and were so hard to put on and take off. But as I got older I realized how wrong I was. Belts add so much to an outfit and again they can be paired with anything, dresses, jeans, and skirts! Black belts with gold accents remind me of fall because those warm tones are just so fitting for that cozy weather.

Jewelry

Ok, this goes for any season but recently I’ve been trying to up my necklace & earring game because they can add so much to an outfit. Like I mentioned earlier, I associate gold with warm tones and I think they look really good in the fall. Chunky gold earrings or layered necklaces are just so stunning and they look so good with sweaters too!

Bags/purses

As women, it is our nature to at least have one bag with us when going out. I cannot tell you how many times I have some kind of purse to go along with my outfit in social settings (when I’m not in class of course) but they really add to an outfit. They don’t have to be that big, they could be handheld or with a strap, but it’s so fun to color-coordinate bags with my outfits.

Oversized jackets

Finally, my all-time favorite accessory, I’m not sure if you would consider it one but it is so much fun to style and this is the best part about fall fashion in my opinion. Oversized jackets! They can really make an outfit and in my experience go with absolutely anything. Denim, leather, you name it, over the shoulder, off the shoulder, they are a staple in fall fashion. Every person I see with an oversized jacket automatically is so cool, and it looks great in photoshoots.

There are so many aspects of fall fashion that I adore, but the accessories are what I love the most. I cannot wait to wear these this season!
