12 Stages of a Snow Day at UGA

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

1.    The local news announces the possibility of snow.

2.    But they’ve been wrong once or twice.

3.   But you still hope for canceled classes

4.   So you check your email frantically…

5.   And ask your professor to be excused, so you can check the weather outside.

6.   But get disappointed when you see only light flurries.

7.   But then your email pings…

8.    and the University says class is canceled.

9.   And you’re so happy.

10.   And then the flurries become heavier.

11.   And suddenly it seems like a blizzard

12.   And you begin to pray for no school tomorrow.
