10 Things Only December Babies Will Understand

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

The month of December is filled with many exciting events such as holidays, winter, ice skating, parties, and many more fun wintery things to do. But behind all the fun that December brings, there are still birthdays that are happening. As somebody who is a December-born baby (I will be 21 on December 21 a.k.a. My Golden Birthday), my birthday can be easily missed with all that is going on with the holiday season. If you too are a fellow December baby, here are some things that you will understand:

1. You have finals around your birthday…

2. It’s hard to make plans with your friends for your birthday…

3. People try to cheat you out of gifts because of Christmas a.k.a. the combined gift…

4. It’s too cold…

5. You can never have a pool party for your birthday…

6. The Sagittarius v. Capricorn debate..

7. Choosing between what you want for your birthday and Christmas…

8. People saying: “It must suck to have a birthday in December.”

9. Never being able to have a class birthday party in school…

10. When Christmas is over, you have to wait another 365 ’til your next celebration…

Happy Birthday to all my December peeps out there!
