This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UFL chapter.

Everyone’s favorite chocolate chip cookie just got a whole lot better! Trust me when I say you must try this soft piece of delicious heaven-filled cookie with gooey warm Nutella and melting chocolate chips. It may not be the healthiest cookie recipe out there, but it sure is the best. Forget Pillsbury and Hershey’s; if happiness had to be described in one recipe, it would be this one.

What you’ll need:-1 stick (1/2 cup) of unsalted butter, softened-1/2 cup dark brown sugar-1/2 cup granulated sugar-1 egg-1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract-1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour-1/2 teaspoon baking soda-1/2 teaspoon salt-1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips-1 cup melted/softened Nutella

How to make it:1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a regular sized muffin pan (should hold about ten muffins).2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.Whisk to combine and set aside.3. In a second bowl, mix together the butter and sugars until the mixture is light and fluffy. Then add the egg and vanilla extract and beat or stir for 2 minutes.4. Slowly add the flour mixture to the second bowl and mix until all is combined and well-incorporated.5. Using a spatula, fold in the chocolate chips.6. Microwave the Nutella in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until it is softened and easy to spoon out.7. Scoop out about 1 1/2 tablespoons of the dough and flatten that amount into each of the ten muffin tin bottoms. This step may vary according to the size of the muffin tin.8. Pour in a tablespoon of the softened Nutella into each of the dough-filled muffin tins.9. Cover the layer of Nutella with the remaining dough and lightly press down to flatten.10. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the edges are turning golden brown. Immediately after, run a butter knife around the cookie cups when they come out of the oven so you can loosen them for easy removal later.11. Cool completely before removing them and eating.

There you have it–the most amazing and exciting cookie recipe ever. Let’s not forget that these are not just cookies filled with Nutella; they’re cookie cups. Yes I said it, your own personal deep-dish cookie also known as the best discovery since Nutella changed everyone’s lives. This recipe will make about ten individual cookie cups so the chances of having any leftovers once you show your treat to friends and family are slim. Don’t forget to top the scrumptious taste with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a perfect pair! Get baking, collegiettes!
